Replay is back  -  1st March 2024

AnamoLABS™ - Cork continues to give students and undergraduates access to biomechanical analysis software who may have limited or restricted access to motion capture systems during their course of study.    In this way, we hope to provide some leadership and direction to students focusing of their goal to ensure their best opportunity with regard to post-graduation employability or further research.

Additionally ‘REPLAY’ offers a platform for cross-course collaboration e.g. Biomechanical Analysis,  Sports Science, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and a number of other career opportunities.

Since 2016, John FitzGerald and his team at Anamo Prometrics Ltd have collaborated with Dr. Nils Hasler of Captury Gmbh (Germany) and the Max Planck Institute seeking to develop our own IP and a suite of solutions to be used in Life Sciences and in SportsTECH; MedTECH; GameTECH and Entertainment (particularly Animation).

While our team have experience of a number of 2D and 3D motion capture systems we are greatly encouraged by the progress that CAPTURY are making - adding new features to both their CapturyLive and CapturyStudio systems.

During Covid 19 we were motivated to use REPLAY - a cutdown version of their successful 3D mocap systems.

Because of the feedback we have received we are continuing to develop REPLAY23 to include a number of 3D mocap screenings for distribution to Universities and technical institutes here in Ireland who provide courses in Sports Science and Physical Education at undergraduate and post graduate level.

Given the feedback we have received and the changing nature of teaching and approaches to same, we believe that REPLAY offers a leap forward for education institutes who are striving to offer the most experiential learning opportunities through the lens of driving the employability outlook for their graduates.
